Ingredients

  • 4 pears sliced vertically
  • 2 teaspoon cinnamon sprinkled over the top

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF.
  • Slice the pears vertically.
  • Sprinkle the cinnamon over the top of the pears.
  • Bake at 375ºF for 25 minutes.
  • Serve warm or cold.

Notes

Serving suggestions

  • Make it maple flavored. Drizzle some maple syrup over the top of the pears just before baking.
  • Eat it with ice cream. Top with a scoop of vanilla or buttered pecan ice cream
  • Add pecans or walnuts. Sprinkle on some walnuts or pecans to add some texture and different flavor.
  • Eat warm or cold. Baked pears with cinnamon are great warm out of the oven or cold the next day.
  • Bourbon flavored. Nothing goes with baked fruits like a spritz of bourbon. Spray the top with a little bourbon right before baking.
