Cut off the white part of the green onion. You do not need it for this recipe.
Chop the remaining green portion of the scallion into 5-6 pieces.
Add the chopped green onion, mayonnaise, and lemon juice into the blender.
Blend on medium for 1-2 minutes or until smooth. Stop after 30 seconds to scrape the sides with a spatula.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
