Easy Homemade Peach Crumble

The perfect summertime dessert any time! Fresh fruity peaches with a crunchy crumb topping. Not too sweet, totally delectable.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups sliced peaches or as much as desired
  • 1 ¼ cups flour divided
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg lightly scrambled
  • ½ cup canola oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF.
  • Slice each peach into approximately 16 slices. Place the sliced peaches into the baking dish.
  • Toss ¼ cup flour and brown sugar with the sliced peaches.
  • In a separate bowl, mix together the remaining flour, white sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Add the egg into the dry mixture and mix by hand until it is fully incorporated and the mixture looks crumbly.
  • Sprinkle the crumble over the fruit in the baking dish.
  • Pour canola oil over the top.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  • Cool for 30 minutes before serving.

  • Peach blueberry crisp. Add ¼ cup of blueberries to the peaches for a fun addition.
  • Deluxe peach cobbler. Serve warm topped with ice cream or whipped cream.
