Equipment

  • 9 x 13 pan

Ingredients

  • 2 cans cherry pie filling
  • 1 box cake mix
  • 12 oz lemon/lime soda

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
  • Dump the cherries on the bottom of the pre-greased pan.
  • Sprinkle the cake mix over the cherries.
  • Pour the soda over the cake mix making sure to get it as wet as you can.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top of the cake is golden brown.

Notes

Do not stir!
This recipe uses yellow cake mix but you can experiment with vanilla or chocolate as well.
