Ingredients

Salad Ingredients

  • 2 heads lettuce romaine
  • ¼ onion red
  • 1 English cucumber
  • 1 pint tomato halved
  • 1 avocado cubed
  • 2 chicken breast boneless, skinless. cubed
  • 4 oz beef fry
  • 3 egg hard boiled and sliced

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • ¼ cup water
  • ¼ cup red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1-2 tsp lemon juice fresh squeezed
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¾ tsp worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ tsp dry mustard
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¾ cup canola oil

Instructions

Salad Instructions

  • Chop the romaine lettuce with a sharp knife and place it into a salad bowl.
  • Cut the red onion into circular rings and place in a vertical line on top of the lettuce.
  • Cut the cucumbers into wedges and place in a corner on top of the lettuce.
  • Cut the tomatoes in half and put along one of the sides on top of the lettuce.
  • Cube the avocado and place in a corner on top of the lettuce.
  • Fry the beef fry in a pan or skillet until crisp. Pat dry and place in a corner on top of the lettuce.
  • Cook the chicken breast seasoned with salt and pepper in a pan or skillet over a medium low flame. When cooled, cube and place in in one of the corners on top of the lettuce.
  • Slice the hard boiled eggs and arrange them in a line that is perpendicular to the line of onions.
  • When ready to eat, dress the salad and toss.

Dressing Instructions

  • Add all dressing ingredients into the blender or food processor together.
  • Blend for 1 minute until all ingredients are incorporated.
