Chop walnuts to your desired size. Use a food processor on pulse or chop by hand.
Chop apples in the food processor (or by hand) until they are approximately ⅛ inch in size.
Sprinkle the cinnamon over the apples.
Pour honey over the apples.
Stir in walnuts and wine.
Notes
Larger walnut pieces will not absorb the honey, wine, and cinnamon as easily as small pieces.Using a food processor will significantly speed up the time needed to prepare this recipe.
